‘O’ and the ‘G’ Shots for Enhanced Sexual Pleasure

What are the 'O' and the 'G' ShotsReduced sexual pleasure for a woman can result from poor lubrication, pain with intercourse, the vaginal canal being excessively loose (decreased sensation) or too tight (discomfort), and problems or inability in achieving an orgasm. Moreover, a low sex drive, or libido, can occur, or even develop, along with other physical challenges.

The human body has a remarkable capability to heal itself. The regeneration of new tissue is achieved by the natural generation of stem cells. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) involves the use of concentrated platelets, rich in bioactive proteins, which release growth factors to promote cellular regeneration and expedite tissue repair.

A qualified surgeon can inject this PRP in precise sites to help enhance a woman’s sexual urge and satisfaction. Plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides sexual aesthetic treatments to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding communities.

    O-Shot and G-Shot

The term “O-Shot” refers to a short term used for the “Orgasm” shot. The PRP, taken from the patient’s own blood, is injected in the clitoris and the vagina in the region of the Grafenburg spot, or “G-Spot,” which is the erotic area within the vagina near the urethra. The treatment is repeated on an annual basis.

The “G-Shot” is another short term used to describe the injection of filler into the G-spot. This procedure is repeated every three to five months. The use of names of these treatments is limited, and doctors may refer to these or similar treatments using different terminology.

PRP is a cutting-edge and effective natural treatment for vaginal rejuvenation and cellular repair.

What benefits can a woman have from the O-shot and G-shot?

    • Reduced or entirely resolved pain during sexual activity (called dyspareunia)
    • Increased ability to achieve vaginal orgasms
    • Greater arousal from clitoral stimulation
    • A tighter vaginal canal (if it felt excessively loose previously)
    • A more elastic vaginal canal (if it felt very tight before, typically after menopause)
    • Smoother, more youthful skin externally (vaginal lips)
    • Reduced or resolved overactive bladder and/or urinary incontinence
    • More frequent, stronger orgasms
    • Enhanced vaginal lubrication

How does the O-shot or G-shot work?

The proteins and growth factors released by the high platelet concentration in PRP activate stem cells and promote cellular repair and regeneration wherever they are applied in the body. On top of this, collagen generation and the development of new blood vessels takes place and further enhances tissue repair.

How is the PRP for the O-shot and G-shot attained?

A small quantity of blood is drawn in the office during the procedure. The blood is then spun in a specially designed centrifuge, which isolates plasma and platelets from the rest of the blood. These isolated platelets are then injected back into the body wherever their benefits are required. As a numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to the injection, the procedure is painless.

How much time does the O-shot or G-shot treatment?

This injectable procedure can be undertaken in the surgeon’s office. It takes around one hour from start to finish, but the patient should budget for a little extra time. The patient may drive herself back home after the procedure.

When to resume sexual activity after the treatment?

The patient may resume sexual activity around four hours after the procedure on the same day. An enhanced sexual response can be felt within days after the procedure. Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and nearby areas for sexual aesthetic treatments.
